The Agreement Behind Your Order
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 July 2026. These terms apply whenever you order a custom suit from NFmoto UK, whether directly or through an authorised dealer.
01
Orders & Deposits
When does my order become confirmed?
Your order is confirmed once you've agreed your design and measurements with us and paid the required deposit. Before that point, quotes and design discussions aren't binding on either side.
What deposit is required?
We require 50% of the order value upfront to begin your order, with the remaining 50% due before your suit ships. This applies to orders placed directly and orders submitted through an authorised dealer on your behalf.
Can I order through a dealer instead of directly?
Yes. Where you order through an authorised NFmoto dealer, these terms still apply to the manufacture of your suit; the dealer may have their own separate terms covering their own services (such as in-person measurement appointments), which they'll provide to you directly.
02
Production & Timelines
How long does production take?
As a general guide: your FitFirst textile trial garment in 7–14 days, a design and artwork proof in 3–5 days, any requested measurement adjustments in a further 3–5 days, and leather suit production taking 8–10 weeks from confirmed fit and design. Total time depends on how many rounds of adjustment are needed and varies during busy periods, which we'll flag to you at order time.
Are these timelines guaranteed?
They're realistic estimates based on typical orders, not fixed guarantees. Every suit is made individually by hand, and complex designs, high demand periods, or delays in your own responses (such as approving a design proof) can extend the timeline. We'll keep you updated if your order is running outside the expected window.
What is the FitFirst stage, and why does it matter to my order?
Before any leather is cut, we build a textile trial garment to your measurements so you can confirm fit. This stage exists to catch fit issues before production, and it also marks an important point in your order — see Cancellation Rights below for what changes once you've confirmed fit and we begin cutting leather.
03
Cancellation Rights
Can I cancel my order?
Because your suit is made to your individual measurements and specification, it's classed as bespoke/personalised goods under UK consumer law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg 28). This means the standard 14-day "cooling off" cancellation right that applies to most online orders does not apply once we begin producing to your confirmed specification.
Is there any point where I can still change my mind?
Before your FitFirst textile trial is confirmed and leather production begins, you can request changes or cancel with only your deposit at risk to cover work already carried out (pattern-making, materials sourced specifically for your order, and design/consultation time). Once leather cutting has started, the suit is being built specifically for you and can no longer be resold, so cancellation is not available at that stage — this is what "bespoke" means in practice, and we make sure you know exactly where that line is before you confirm your design.
Does this affect my rights if something's wrong with the suit?
No. The bespoke-goods exemption only removes the right to cancel simply because you've changed your mind. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — that goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described — apply in full regardless. See our Warranty page for how we handle genuine defects.
04
Pricing & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Direct bank transfer — with separate GBP, USD and EUR accounts available — as well as PayPal and all major debit and credit cards.
Can prices change after I've paid my deposit?
No. Once your deposit is paid and your order confirmed, the agreed price is fixed for that order, regardless of later price list changes.
What if I request design changes after ordering?
Minor adjustments during the FitFirst stage are included. Significant design changes requested after that stage — or after leather production has begun — may incur additional cost, which we'll always confirm with you before proceeding.
05
Delivery
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes — we ship to customers across the UK, Europe and worldwide. Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges applied by your country are your responsibility and aren't included in our pricing.
What happens if my suit is lost or damaged in transit?
We ship using tracked, insured couriers. If your suit arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, contact us immediately with your tracking details and we'll resolve it directly with the courier and with you — you shouldn't need to chase this yourself.
Does ownership transfer to me before delivery?
Ownership of your suit transfers to you once payment in full has been received; risk of loss or damage in transit remains with us until the courier confirms delivery to you.
06
Your Consumer Rights
What rights do I have under UK law?
If you're a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you the right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described, regardless of the bespoke-goods cancellation exemption described above.
What if I'm ordering from outside the UK?
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. If you're a consumer in the EU or elsewhere, you may also have additional protections under your own local consumer law, which these terms don't remove.
07
Liability
What's the extent of NFmoto's liability?
We're liable for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We don't exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, as these can never be limited under UK law.
Are your suits safety equipment?
Our suits are CE-certified protective garments, but no protective garment can guarantee prevention of injury in every circumstance. See our CE Certifications page for detail on certification and its limits.
08
General
Can these terms change?
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect at the point you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
What if part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable?
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
