01

Ordering & The FitFirst Process

How does the FitFirst process work?
You send us your measurements, and we build a textile trial garment to that spec first — not leather. You try it on, ride in it, and tell us what needs adjusting. We refine the pattern until the fit is confirmed, and only then do we cut leather for your final suit. It removes the guesswork that causes most custom-suit fit problems.
How long does it take to get my suit?
As a general guide: initial response within 24 hours, your FitFirst textile garment in 7–14 days, a design & artwork proof in 3–5 days, any requested measurement adjustments in a further 3–5 days, and leather suit production taking 8–10 weeks. Total time varies with how many rounds of adjustment are needed.
Can I make changes after I've placed my order?
Yes — that's the whole point of the FitFirst textile stage. You can request fit adjustments before we move to leather. Once leather production has started, changes become more limited, so we always confirm fit and design with you before cutting.
Do I need to visit in person, or can I order remotely?
Everything can be done remotely. Download our measurement template, take your own measurements at home, and send it back to us via WhatsApp or email. We guide you through the whole process from there.
What if my measurements change before the suit is finished?
Let us know as soon as possible. If you're still at the textile trial stage, this is exactly what that stage is for. Message us on WhatsApp or email and we'll advise on the best way to adjust your order.
02

Measurements & Sizing

How do I measure myself at home?
Download our male or female measurement template from the Measurements page. Each template includes step-by-step instructions and a reference diagram showing exactly where and how to measure.
What if I get a measurement wrong?
This is exactly what the FitFirst textile trial garment is designed to catch. You'll try it on before any leather is cut, so a measurement error gets identified and corrected long before it affects your final suit.
What's the difference between the male and female templates?
The female template includes additional measurement points relevant to fit — such as bust/bosom placement and under-bust circumference — so the pattern is built around the correct body shape from the start.
I use a back protector or airbag — does that affect my measurements?
Yes. If you plan to wear a back protector or airbag system inside your suit, you must take all your measurements while wearing it, and note the brand/model in the Special Remarks section of your measurement form. This ensures the suit is built with the correct room for that equipment.
Do you offer standard sizing, or is everything made-to-measure?
Both. Made-to-measure through our FitFirst process is our speciality, but we also offer standard EU sizing — 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 — for a faster turnaround without the full measurement process. Standard sizing uses the same construction and CE-certified protection as a made-to-measure build.
03

Materials & Construction

What leather do you use?
Every suit is built from 1.3mm full-grain cowhide as standard, with a premium kangaroo leather upgrade available for maximum abrasion resistance.
What's the difference between cowhide and kangaroo leather?
Cowhide is the standard, proven choice for race suits — durable and CE-certified. Kangaroo leather is lighter and offers greater abrasion resistance for the same thickness, making it a popular upgrade for riders who want maximum protection with less bulk.
What protection is built into the suit?
CE Level 2 protectors at all key impact zones, Kevlar stretch panels for freedom of movement, YKK zippers, and triple-stitched seams throughout. An optional airbag socket can also be integrated during manufacture.
Can I choose my own colours and graphics?
Yes. Every suit is fully personalised — colour panels, piping, logos and graphics are all your choice, and you're not limited to the colourways shown on our product pages. Those are a starting point for inspiration, not the full range. We produce a design and artwork proof for your approval before any leather is cut.
What's the difference between the Vyper and the Pro GP?
Both are built to the same CE AAA standard with CE Level 2 protection throughout, and both are available as a one-piece suit or a two-piece jacket-and-trouser set. The difference comes down to style — the Vyper is our flagship silhouette, while the Pro GP has its own distinct panel layout and design. Neither is more protective than the other; it's a matter of preference.
Can I get either suit as a one-piece or two-piece?
Yes. Both the Vyper and the Pro GP are available as a one-piece suit or as a two-piece jacket-and-trouser set that zips together for track use and separates for the road. Let us know your preference when you enquire.
04

Safety & CE Certification

Are NFmoto suits CE certified?
Yes. Our Vyper and Pro GP base patterns — which form the foundation for many of our custom builds — are independently tested and certified to EN 17092-2:2020, Class AAA.
What does "Class AAA" mean?
Class AAA is the highest protective classification under EN 17092, the European standard for motorcycle rider protective clothing. It reflects the garment's abrasion resistance, seam strength, and overall construction quality.
Are the base patterns independently tested?
Yes. The Vyper is certified by ANCCP Certification Agency S.r.l. and the Pro GP by MIRTA-KONTROL d.o.o. — both independent notified bodies. Full certificates are available to download on our CE Certifications page.
Can I use my own aftermarket back protector?
Yes. Just make sure to take all your measurements while wearing it, and let us know the brand and model when you order, so we can build the suit with the correct fit around it.
05

Airbag System

Can I add an airbag to my suit?
Yes. NFmoto is an approved manufacturer for the Helite Race Suit Airbag system. Specify the airbag option when you enquire and we'll build the socket into your suit as part of the order — not retrofitted afterwards.
How does the Helite Race Suit Airbag system work?
A Crash Detection Unit (CDU) sensor mounted in your suit's speedhump continuously monitors your motion. If it detects a fall, it fires the e-cartridge and the airbag inflates in a fraction of a second, protecting your spine, collarbone and chest before impact.
Does the airbag work with any suit, or only NFmoto suits?
The integrated Helite Race Suit Airbag system is built into your NFmoto suit during construction, with the correct socket geometry, anchor points and speedhump dimensions — it isn't a retrofit. If you already own a separate airbag vest, see the question below on standalone systems.
Can I wear my own standalone airbag vest instead of the integrated system?
In many cases, yes. Some standalone airbag vests — such as the Alpinestars Tech-Air Race, Tech-Air 5, Hit-Air RS-1, and the Ixon/Klim/Furygan In&motion vests — are designed to be worn under a race suit rather than over it. We can build your NFmoto suit with the extra room, removable protectors and stretch panels needed to fit one of these underneath. See the full list and details on our Airbag page, and let us know your system’s brand and model when you order.
What happens after the airbag deploys — can it be reused?
Yes. Deflate the airbag and replace the single-use e-cartridge with a new Helite GG 60 cartridge, and the system is ready to go again. The CDU sensor and airbag bladder are designed for long-term repeated use.
How do I get a replacement e-cartridge?
Replacement Helite GG 60 e-cartridges are available from Helite and authorised dealers.
06

Payment & Deposits

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept direct bank transfer — with separate GBP, USD and EUR accounts, just ask us for the relevant account details — as well as PayPal and all major debit and credit cards.
What are your deposit terms?
We ask for 50% upfront to begin your order, with the remaining 50% due before your suit ships.
07

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship to customers across the UK, Europe and worldwide.
How do I get shipping and tracking updates?
Message us on WhatsApp any time after your suit has shipped and we'll send your tracking details directly.
08

Returns, Fit & Aftercare

Can a custom-made suit be returned or exchanged once finished?
Because every NFmoto suit is built specifically for you — to your own measurements and your own choice of colours, graphics and options — it cannot be returned or exchanged once made. It's built to fit you, and no one else.
If the finished suit doesn't fit right, what happens?
We take great care to get your fit right through the FitFirst process before any leather is cut. If a genuine fit issue is later found to be our error, we'll offer a free alteration wherever possible. If an alteration isn't possible, we'll offer to build a new suit.
09

Dealers & Partners

How do I become an NFmoto dealer?
Read about the partner programme on our Dealers page, then apply directly through our Apply Now page. Tell us about your business and we'll be in touch to discuss training, onboarding and next steps.
Do I need to hold stock as a dealer?
No. Because every suit is made to measure, NFmoto doesn't run a traditional stockist model. Partners act as local measurement points and brand representatives — you refer the customer and take the initial fit, we handle manufacture. No inventory, no upfront stock purchase.
Is there a dealer near me?
We're building out our authorised partner network. A dealer locator will be added here as our partner programme grows — in the meantime, get in touch with us directly and we'll point you toward your nearest option.
