Had a Crash?
Crash Repair
If your suit's been through a crash, here's how our repair service works, what's realistically repairable, and how this differs from a warranty claim.
01
Getting an Assessment
What should I do first after a crash?
Send us photos of the damage and your order details via WhatsApp or email. We'll give you an honest initial read on whether it's likely repairable before you send anything in.
Is crash damage covered by warranty?
No — our warranty covers manufacturing defects, not impact damage. Crash repair is a separate paid service, priced based on the extent of the damage.
02
What's Repairable
What kind of damage can actually be repaired?
Surface abrasion, localised seam damage, and armour that's shifted or needs replacing are often repairable. Damage that's compromised the leather's structural integrity across a wide area, or affected multiple panels significantly, may mean a rebuild rather than a repair.
How do you decide if a suit is repairable or not?
We inspect the suit in person once it arrives — photos give us a starting estimate, but a proper assessment needs hands-on inspection of the leather and seams before we confirm what's possible.
03
If You Have an Airbag
My airbag deployed — what do I need to do?
Most airbag manufacturers want to inspect or service a system after deployment, separately from any suit repair. If your suit has a Helite system integrated, let us know when you send the suit in and we'll help coordinate that alongside the suit repair.
Can a deployed airbag be reset and reused?
Depends on the system — tethered systems like Helite typically need a replacement CO2 cartridge, while electronic systems may need a manufacturer inspection before being cleared to use again. See our servicing guide for more.
04
The Repair Process
How long does a crash repair take?
Depends on the extent of the damage — we'll give you a realistic timeline once we've inspected the suit in person, rather than guessing from photos alone.
How much does crash repair cost?
Pricing depends entirely on the damage — we'll confirm a quote after inspection, before any work begins, so you're never committed to a cost you haven't approved.
What if the suit isn't repairable?
We'll tell you honestly if a rebuild makes more sense than a repair, and talk through your options — including whether your existing measurements can be reused for a new order.
